Snake Pottery.   During the late 1960’s and  1970’s Peter Currell Brown ran a craft pottery from his home in Green Lane, Cam, Gloucestershire. Peter had already greeted fame with the publication of the cult classic surrealist novel “Smallcreep’s Day”.   Turning his hand to pottery, Peter made a vast number of Tankards, jugs, puzzle jugs, mugs, frog mugs, cider cups, chess sets and much much more. His slipware often reflecting the style of Thomas Toft. Clay was dug from his own garden and glazes sourced from the immediate local area.
